At this event, Hannah Browne will join Helga Svendsen, host of the Take on Board podcast and experienced Board member, in a discussion about why women in tech should also be women in the boardroom.
Helga and Hannah would also like to thank the wonderful people at MYOB for supporting this event and generously hosting the evening.
Helga is passionate about gender equity and diversity on boards - it’s why she founded the Board KickStarter program (to support and encourage women into the boardroom) and the Board Accelerator program (to support them once they’re in the boardroom).
She’s a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Board member of the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Accident Compensation Conciliation Service.
She’s also a former Board member of Social Housing Victoria, YWCA Victoria and the former Chair of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership. She and Hannah have also worked together on the Greenpeace Australia Pacific Nominations Committee.
Hannah is a technology leader, serial entrepreneur, Non-Executive Director, culture advocate and seven-time National Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion. She is currently scaling her fifth company, Midnyte City.
In 2020 Hannah was appointed to the Board of Greenpeace Australia Pacific as a Director, and Chairs the Nominations Committee. She is thrilled to contribute her technology expertise to tackling climate change through governance and strategy at one of the world’s most recognisable environmental advocacy groups.
